Healthy communities

Create shared value.

Our Community Charter

We farm in some of the most beautiful, remote and fragile coastal regions in Scotland. We respect the major role that salmon farming plays in these remote areas and are devoted to being an active and integral part of our communities.

We are committed to creating shared value in the rural communities in which we live and work. Our Community Charter pledges our commitment to our people, suppliers and communities.

Community engagement programme - A key part of our community engagement programme is supporting local, traditional, cultural and sporting events such as the Skye Half Marathon, the Cowal Gathering and the Lochcarron Highland Games. These are all key community events and some have been a highlight of the rural calendar for centuries.

In addition, through our Community Fund, employees are encouraged to nominate local groups or initiatives that promote health and wellbeing, and stewardship of the natural environment in their local communities. Since its launch in 2017, we have supported over 100 local groups.

Housing - Housing is a priority to support recruitment opportunities in rural areas and we are always looking to invest further.
