BAKKAFROST SCOTLAND CELEBRATES WIN AT PRESTIGOUS SCDI AWARDS

Bakkafrost Scotland has won the award for Excellence in International Business at the prestigious annual SCDI awards.

This award celebrates businesses working in the Highlands and Islands, demonstrating outstanding achievements in the global marketplace, involving a successful export strategy that underpins growth and the ability to innovate and break into new markets.

The Scottish provenance of our products is at the heart of our business. We produce around 25,000 tonnes of Scottish salmon annually and export to about 26 countries, ranging from North America to the Far East.

Our export strategy aims to create long-term partnerships. We work with many specialist retailers, leading chefs, premium restaurants and high-end foodservice customers passionate about provenance, traceability, quality and sustainability.
